The U.S. response to Iran’s proposals, Washington presented five main demands:
▪️No payment of compensation or damages by the United States
▪️Transfer of 400 kg of uranium from Iran to the United States
▪️Operation of only one nuclear site out of Iran’s nuclear facilities
▪️No release of even 25% of the frozen Iranian assets
▪️Conditioning a ceasefire on all fronts upon the continuation of negotiations.
The US may launch a ground operation to seize Iranian enriched uranium in the coming days.
The US and Israel are preparing for a possible resumption of military operations against Iran, which could be as early as next week as the US continues to redeploy its military assets away from Iranian missile targets in the UAE, Saudi and Qatar.
The option to send US special forces to Iran to search for nuclear materials hidden underground is complicated and an inherent risk requiring several hundred US special forces to secure the Iranian warehouse of highly enriched uranium at a nuclear facility in Isfahan.
Any operation would also require thousands of support troops of logistics, engineers, medical and helicopter support plus an infantry perimeter guard which would be involved in direct conflict and thus casualties.
Trump may decide for the least risk scenario to break the negotiation deadlock with Tehran with more aggressive attacks on ranian military and oil infrastructurefacilities.
