Bahrain condemned the Iranian drone attacks on its territory on Saturday, in blatant violation of its sovereignty and the safety of civilians, the Bahrain foreign ministry said.
Iran is solely responsible for undermining regional de-escalation efforts through its continued attacks that happen while these efforts are ongoing, the ministry said in a statement carried by the state news agency.
“Peace cannot be built through terrorism, and security cannot be established through aggression,” the ministry said, reiterating that Bahrain reserves the full right to defend its sovereignty and security.
