TRUMP SIGNALS POSSIBLE SUMMIT WITH MOJTABA KHAMENEI AS MAXIMUM PRESSURE CAMPAIGN FORCES IRAN TO THE TABLE
President Trump dropped a major update on Iran negotiations, saying the situation is “rapidly evolving” and “will be very good.”
“They say Ayatollah is giving approval in talks,” Trump stated. He added that he “will probably meet with Iran’s Ayatollah at some point.”
Trump made clear the relationship has improved dramatically under his leadership: “But we seem to be getting along quite well.”
He expressed openness to direct talks: “I haven’t had the privilege of meeting him… Yeah, I’d like to meet him. I’d love to meet him, and we probably will meet at some point, depending on how it all works out.”
Despite reports of the new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei suffering severe injuries, Trump confirmed the chain of command remains intact and engagement is underway.
This comes as Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and the administration continue heavy strikes and the naval blockade that has Iran boxed in. After destroying Iran’s navy, air force, missile capabilities, and drone stockpiles through Operation Epic Fury, Trump is now leveraging total dominance into a position of strength for any potential deal.
Trump’s approach is classic: project overwhelming power first, then offer the path to peace on American terms. The mullahs know they have no cards left. Either they come to the table and make real concessions, or they face total economic strangulation and continued military degradation.
