US Strikes Hit Iranian Port City as Tensions Explode in the Strait of Hormuz
Explosions rocked Bandar Abbas Tuesday night with US forces hammering the airport and military targets in southern Iran.
The hits come straight after Iranian attacks on commercial ships in the vital Strait of Hormuz violating a shaky ceasefire. CENTCOM says the strikes took out air defenses drones and port facilities to hit back hard at the regime.
Bandar Abbas is Iran’s biggest southern port and naval hub sitting right on the oil artery so these blows cut deep into Tehran’s ability to threaten shipping.
