President Trump issued a blunt warning to Iran on Saturday: reach a solid deal or face renewed U.S. airstrikes.
Speaking aboard Air Force One, Trump said the current ceasefire won’t last without progress. “Maybe I won’t extend it. So you have a blockade and unfortunately, we’ll have to start dropping bombs again,” he stated. “I think it’s going to happen.”
The comments come amid high tensions over Iran’s nuclear ambitions, the blocked Strait of Hormuz, and stalled talks. Trump has kept a naval blockade in place on Iranian ports to choke off their oil exports and pressure the regime to abandon its push for nuclear weapons.
This is classic maximum pressure: no more endless talks or weak concessions that let Iran stall for time. The mullahs have played games for years, funding terror and racing toward the bomb while choking global energy flows. Trump is making clear America won’t tolerate it.
Markets are watching closely. Renewed bombing could spike oil prices fast and ripple into crypto and stocks. Weakness invites aggression; strength brings leverage.
Deal or bombs. The choice is Iran’s, but the consequences are coming.
