RNC Chairman Joe Gruters made it clear the Republican National Committee is executing President Trump’s direct orders with no distractions.
“When the president asked me to serve as the chairman of the National Party, he said you have one goal and that’s winning midterms,” Gruters said. “We’ve been laser focused on that. We had a plan. We’re executing a plan.”
He detailed the aggressive rollout already underway: “As a matter of fact, we hired our first 17 state directors and deployed them a couple weeks ago. They are on the ground preparing for get out the vote activities and making sure that election integrity teams are on ground to make sure these elections are safe and secure.”
Gruters confirmed the operation is fully resourced: “We have the resources we need and we have the messaging that we need.”
He tied it directly to Trump’s proven turnout machine: “The president who has obviously already proven that he could turn out low propensity voters three times. Yes, he’s going to be working with him as he barnstorms the country in these districts that matter when it matters.”
