One of Russia’s largest oil facilities is in flames after strikes by long-range Ukrainian drones, this time about 932 miles from the nearest border with Ukraine. This comes just days after Ukraine struck the Tuapse oil facility. Ukraine has been increasingly targeting Russia’s major oil infrastructure to pressure Putin’s war effort.
“For the second day in a row, drones from the SBU’s Alpha Special Operations Center have successfully targeted Russian oil infrastructure near Perm. Today, a fire is raging at the Lukoil-Permnaftorgsintez refinery, located more than 1,500 km from Ukraine.”
