President Trump announced Republicans will hold the party’s first-ever national midterm convention on Sept. 9-10 in Dallas, a first-of-its-kind event aimed at energizing GOP voters ahead of November’s congressional elections.
The convention will spotlight Republican accomplishments since the 2024 election and focus attention on key House and Senate races as the GOP looks to defend its narrow congressional majorities.
