JOHN BOLTON PLEADS GUILTY TO ILLEGALLY RETAINING CLASSIFIED INFORMATION — FACES UP TO 60 MONTHS AND $2.25 MILLION FINE
John Bolton is set to plead guilty to retaining classified documents.
Sources confirm the longtime Trump critic and former National Security Advisor will admit to the charges, which stemmed from 18 counts at the end of last year involving diary-like material containing classified information.
The plea will likely keep him out of prison.
Bolton faces up to 60 months in prison and a $2.25 million fine as part of the resolution.
This comes after years of Bolton’s public attacks on President Trump while questions swirled about his own handling of sensitive materials.
Accountability is finally hitting the never-Trump crowd.
