The Trump White House has SMACKED DOWN a report from Iran State TV claiming a framework deal with the US allows Iran to CONTROL THE STRAIT
Never gonna happen.
“Iran is claiming that the memorandum of understanding would have the U.S. withdraw forces and lift the naval blockade in exchange for Iran restoring commercial traffic through the Strait of Hormuz within a month with all ship traffic managed by Iran. They further claim if a deal is reached it would become binding with a U.N. Security Council resolution.”
WHITE HOUSE: “This report from Iranian controlled media is not true and the MOU they “released” is a complete fabrication. Nobody should believe what Iranian state media is putting out. FACTS MATTER.”
